The Kurayoshi 25 Years Old Malt Whisky is aged in white oak ex-bourbon barrels. This pure malt expression is a product of a thorough selection of more than 25 years old, barrel-aged malt whiskies, meticulously blended with natural water from the soft, natural spring water from Mount Daisen, and bottled carefully with passion, love, and soul. Bottled at 50%, Kurayoshi 25 Years Old Malt Whisky comes with a luxurious taste, which is unique, elegant, delicate, and bold to long-term aged whisky.

Founded in 1910 as a producer of Sake and Shōchū, Matsui and its Kurayoshi Distillery are located in Tottori Prefecture, northwest of Kyoto and northeast of Hiroshima on the shore of the Sea of Japan. Over the recent years, the Matsui Shuzou Distillery has proven to be prolific in blending and aging whisky with both its Kurayoshi and Tottori product expressions, and is now stepping confidently into the world of whisky distillation with its single malt collection entitled, ‘The Matsui.’
