Olmeca Blanco Tequila is produced from hand-picked Weber Blue agave grown in Los Altos highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. Olmeca Blanco is double distilled from Mexican blue agave in traditional copper pot stills, resulting in a fresh, high quality and citric Tequila with a soft finish.
Olmeca Blanco is bottled fresh, directly from the distillery, and without aging. Tequila Blanco comes with intense, fruity aromas, combining fresh green citrus with ripe sweet fruits and cooked agave, and is ideal for refreshing cocktails. This sweet crystalline tequila won a Silver medal at the 2010 San Francisco World Spirits Awards.
Owned by the Pernod Ricard Group, Olmeca was created in 1967 and is now made at Destileria Colonial de Jalisco, M©xico, under the care of Jess Hern¡ndez, Maestro Tequilero (Master Distiller) where he uses different artisan methods for the elaboration of tequila. Olmecas expert and unique production process combine handpicked agave plants, brink ovens, cultivated yeast, and distillation in small copper pot stills.
The Los Altos Region is 2,100m above sea level. It is a region within the appellation of origin zone in the state of Jalisco. The rich red soil that characterizes the Los Altos area is the key element for the unique Tequila profile: spicy with a fruity bouquet, more rounded, and naturally sweet.
You can enjoy Olmeca Blanco straight up or mixed into your favourite cocktails (such as Margarita) for an energetic, fun, and liberated night with your friends, with an added hint of mystery.
Toast to a flavourful and excellent tequila from Mexico!
