Established in 1769 as one of the world’s oldest gins, Gordon’s London Dry Gin was first developed in 1769 by Alexander Gordon, who set up a distillery in the Southwark area of London. This premium gin was one of the very first to be drunk with tonic. From London, the distillery was moved to Scotland where it is primarily produced today. Alexander Gordon’s Dry Gin recipe proved so successful that the age-old recipe has remained unchanged till today and is known to only twelve people in the world.
So far, Gordon’s London Dry Gin has grown in leaps and bounds to become the world’s bestselling gin. It has been the Number One choice of gin connoisseurs for over 250 years. Gordon’s iconic square-faced bottle is recognized around the world and has remained the UK’s favourite gin since the 19th century.
