For over two decades, our Glenfiddich 21 Year Old has been aged traditionally, patiently maturing at our distillery in Scotland for 21 long years in American oak casks. But to make it truly unique, we wanted to imbue it with even warmer and richer flavours, notes found in Rum.
After at least 21 years maturing in American oak casks, our precious 21-year-old single alt is finished for up to four months in casks soaked with a custom blend of Golden rum- our Malt Master’s secret recipe, using spirits from three Caribbean islands. The result is a unique and elegantly balanced single malt which is a true reflection of the passion for perfection passed down through our family since 1887.
