The Nederburg Pinotage Wine is ruby red with rich fruity flavors and soft tannins on the palate, infused with oak and hints of vanilla, plums, prunes, and oak spice. The Pinotage grapes were harvested at 23°C to 24.5°C by machine and hand. The cool-fermentation process took place in tanks of stainless steel that are temperature controlled (25°C to 28°C) for about two weeks. The wine was then matured for one year with American and French oak.
