Douglas Green Shiraz 2011 -75CL

The Douglas Green Shiraz 2011 is an elegant, complex and alluring wine. Matured in oak barrels for 12 months, this full-bodied wine displays typical Shiraz characteristics of dark berry fruit, clove and cinnamon spice. DGB Ltd was formally established in 1990, but their true roots extend over 300 years when winemaking began at the Boschendal and Bellingham farms in the Cape Winelands. The company has been doing things a little differently since the 1940s, when Douglas Green pioneered the wholesale sales model for wine in Paarl. Today, they are one of South AfricaÂ’s largest independent wine and spirit producers and distributors. DGB wines are exported directly to over 70 countries and through third parties to another 30 countries.
